Role Brief

We at Swades Foundation are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Human Resource Manager with a strong background in Learning and Development (L&D). In this key role you will be responsible for overseeing the HR functions related to leadership development talent management and employee training within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives focused on leadership development and talent management.
  • Design and execute comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify leadership training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Oversee the performance management process including goal setting feedback mechanisms and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in all HR initiatives and programs.
  • Lead and mentor HR team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to measure the effectiveness of L&D programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with external training providers and educational institutions to leverage resources and expertise for employee development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in leadership development and learning technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or related field; masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within HR with a focus on learning and development.
  • Strong understanding of leadership development principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Certification in HR or Learning and Development (e.g. SHRMCP PHR CPLP) is a plus.
