Job Description

Development of communications strategy to support delivery of our longterm plans and our longer term strategy with specific provision for key projects around our local dairy initiatives including the Farm Project and other Dairy Development Projects/Initiatives.
Owning and driving our public affairs strategy and maintaining periodic engagement with governmental and regulatory bodies
Identifying and managing relationships with nongovernmental partners
Maintaining contact with our industry peers to leverage collaboration opportunities
Ensuring strong and resilient relationships with our partners and industry peers in Nigeria including local authorities major employers business representative organisations and business partners
Building and leveraging strong network with business political and media contacts around region in order to support business delivery
Manage communications plan for local dairy development together with project team by liaising with Clients Global Communication team project managers media agencies and other partners for execution
Takes lead in developing global scalable communication solutions.
Supporting strong internal communications in order to build corporate identity maintain strong employee engagement on our corporate strategy
Ensures evaluation of communication in relation to relevant KPIs
Drive and engage potential valuedriving corporate sponsorship opportunities and manage annual sponsorship budget
Effective membership of Nigeria senior management team
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in related field (Post graduate degree is very desirable)
- Several years of documented and proven experience in public affairs corporate communications and corporate affairs preferably in FMCG
- Candidate must be a selfstarter selfdriven detailoriented and excellent at written and verbal communication
- Proven excellent communications skills including: development and delivery of effective communication strategy writing and successfully deploying press releases and other material presentations videos and other communication tools
- Skilled in MS Office especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience and confidence in working with toplevel executives and government officials and ability to represent the team in internal and external engagements
- Experience formulating and negotiating contractual agreements
