Senior IoT and Backend Developer
Mission:
Contribute to the deployment of the "Data Management and IoT" program by developing technology demonstrators that allow proof of concept for data-centric applications on the company s products or processes. The candidate will have an opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing intercontinental team.
Responsibilities:
Develop technology demonstrators in the field of predictive maintenance and industrial IoT.
Coordinate with business, product, and data science teams to understand and solve business pain points and create new business opportunities
Coordinate research and development work with partner laboratories and external collaborators (startups, consulting firms, industrial partners ...)
Communicate actively and frequently on the progress of demonstrators to widely disseminate digital culture and data-centric culture in the group
Document your work to facilitate project management
Requirements
Master or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Min. 5 years of relevant working experience in Software Development or Engineering
Solid software design knowledge
o Able to create software that is extensible and reusable
Work experience in the following areas:
o Asynchronous programming and asynchronous I/O frameworks such as asyncio
o Python and backend frameworks such as Django and Flask
o Designing and developing APIs
o IoT, compute, storage, and database cloud services
Start-up and Research and Innovation mind-set
Commitment and self-initiative
Agile work with various internal or external interlocutors
Open-minded to produce sometimes disruptive ideas
Only Singapore-based candidates will be considered.
