Senior Electrical Engineer

About the department:

BYD is market leader across all ranges passenger cars trucks buses and warehousing equipment.

The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced full electric vehicles series which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.

As R&D Engineer you will do research analysis and evaluation of Emobility products user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration working closely together with product design and engineering teams.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for undertaking lowvoltage technical support for all European export models;
• Troubleshoot and resolve;
• Technical communication with customers;
• Organizing technical exchanges between Europe and Shenzhen.

Your profile:

• Master the function working principle composition and structure of each electrical system and understand the technical requirements of each component;
• Understand quality knowledge and master basic quality tools;
• Understand BYDs workflowanalyze and solve complex problems in depth;
• Passionate about New Energy Vehicles Industry;
  
• Selfmotivated but also an active team player;
• Good organization and coordination skills;
• Proficient in wordexcelPPT and other software;
• Fluent in English.
