Senior Cloud and System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud and Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web administration cloud administration DevOps practices and both Linux and Windows system administration. This role requires a proactive individual who can work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Linux and Windows Web Server Administration:

• Install configure and maintain web servers on both Linux and Windows platforms.
  
• Monitor web server performance and implement optimizations and security measures.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web server configurations and deployments.
  
• Collaborate with developers to optimize web service performance and reliability.
  
• Support the deployment and scaling of web applications across different environments.
  
• Enforce web server security protocols and best practices.
  
• Regularly update systems to protect against vulnerabilities.
  

Cloud Administration:

• Architect level experience in cloudbased infrastructure and services primarily in AWS.
  
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.
  
• Implement and oversee cloudbased solutions for enhanced web service performance and reliability.
  

DevOps and Development:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Manage code builds and version control using Git and TFS.
  
• Assist in automating and streamlining operations and processes.
  

System Administration:

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windowsbased systems.
  
• Ensure system security and efficiency through regular monitoring and upgrades.
  

Consultancy and Support:

• Provide expert advice and support on system and cloud administration.
  
• Manage Active Directory (AD) and VPN services for internal and external users.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  
• At least 5 years of experience in web administration and cloud services particularly AWS.
  
• Strong experience in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines code builds and Git management.
  
• Knowledge of Active Directory and VPN configurations.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  

Additional Skills

• Certifications in AWS Linux Windows or related fields are a plus.
  
• Experience in scripting and automation tools.
