At D. Catcher we have an opening for a Sr Buyer to join a global manufacturing company
Job Description
- Responsible for procurement of commercial and specialty products for the Oil Gas industry & OEM.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products (mostly from China)
- Source and select suppliers based on quality competitive pricing and outstanding service.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of market trends products and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure product availability and meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- International trade
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- SAP or ERP
- Desirable background in metalmechanic or automotive industry
- Good with numbers maths
