Senior Business Systems Analyst (Banking / Insurance)

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst for one of our clients in the insurance industry.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $80.
9month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid role: work schedule from 8 am to 4 pm.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the development of quality Business System Analysis (BSA) deliverables including user stories and data mapping.
Collaborate with business partners vendors leaders application development and testing teams to ensure the delivery of quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our business partners and clients.
Provide leadership motivation support and coaching to project team members and peers offering guidance appropriate for their knowledge and skill level.
Understand the technical and operational challenges and objectives that may impact the rollout of an application/process and utilize this understanding to drive discussions about solutions and risk mitigation.
Establish and maintain trusted advisory relationships with clients by gathering and analyzing information to provide recommendations that address and resolve business issues.
What you will need to succeed:
College or University degree in Information Technology or Business Systems Analysis.
Experience within the financial industry is preferred.
510 years of experience in a similar role.
5 years of experience using agile methodology.
Expertise in applying business analysis core competencies.
Proficiency with tools such as Jira/Confluence and Mainframe APIs.
Experience in documenting business cases and conducting concept/discovery work.
Proficiency in workflow management and Pega systems.
Expertise in data mapping process flow diagramming and elicitation.
A strong communicator adept at actively listening and discerning both spoken and unspoken cues excelling in delivering understanding and interpreting messages through verbal discussions and in written form.
A talented facilitator skilled in negotiation and influencing divergent needs amongst stakeholders.
A strategic thinker who appropriately applies a variety of planning analysis elicitation modelling and documentation techniques to accurately define and communicate requirements to help successfully deliver on initiatives.
A collaborative team member who continuously strives to improve the client experience our team and our processes.
A strategic thinker with diplomatic facilitation and leadership skills capable of eliciting and constructing requirements that lead to exceptional solutions.
