Sync Robotics is expanding their talented team of individuals and is currently seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing Accounts Payables Receivables Invoicing and Payroll functions. As the ideal candidate you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the financial success of the company demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Key responsibilities will include:


  • Manage Accounts payables receivables & invoicing processes;
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions;
  • Lead the processing of payroll including reviewing and approving employee expenses reconciling timesheets and managing attendance records such as sick days vacation and overtime;
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies;
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions;
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures;
  • Oversee employee benefits management;
  • Manage provincial and federal grant applications;
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for management review;
  • Additional duties as required.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory; individuals currently pursuing a degree or certificate in a related field are encouraged to apply;
  • 15 years of proven experience in a similar role;
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment;
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style;
  • Strong computer literacy including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Previous experience and proficiency working with accounting software;
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality and integrity;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to function autonomously in a teambased environment.

Salary Range: $52000$65000 per annum.
