Job Description

Assist clients in need of Vital Statistic services and provide general office support. Notarize documents for public as a Notary Public of Oregon. Maintain confidentiality. Basic knowledge of the Warm Springs customs and traditions. Maintain statistical data on enrollments. Responsible for the registration of documents. Assist all clients that may be in highly emotional conditions provide information requested and follow through for additional information when required. Maintain records and files accurately and uptodate. Prioritize work for maximum efficiency. Communicate courteously and respond to inquiries timely. Must also maintain strict confidentiality at all times!



Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of strong secretarial experience required and knowledge of basic accounting. Personal computer skills; word processing spreadsheet database graphics and census program. Microsoft word. Excellent interpersonal skills; written verbal listening and sensitivity to clients. Thorough knowledge of alpha and numeric filing systems and other electronic record keeping systems. General understanding of legal documents. Will be required to submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Will also be required to submit to a preemployment alcohol and drug screening.
