SAP Concur Solution Engineer


The SAP Concur Solution Engineer is a pivotal role within our sales team dedicated to showcasing the value and capabilities of SAP Concur solutions to prospective clients. This role demands a blend of technical expertise business acumen and communication skills to ensure that the solutions proposed and delivered are efficient scalable and aligned with the client s business objectives and complex business requirements.

The Solution Engineer will work closely with sales representatives product teams and customers acting as the technical expert in the sales process as well as a solution architect to ensure that solutions are designed and implemented with best practices and innovation in mind.


Key Responsibilities:

Solution Demonstration: Conduct detailed demonstrations of SAP Concur products to potential customers highlighting features and benefits relevant to their specific business needs. Customize presentations to address the technical functional and business requirements of the customer.

Solution Design: Architect comprehensive scalable and robust solutions using SAP Concur products and services for clients. Ensure solutions are aligned with client business goals and SAP Concur s product capabilities.

Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical liaison between sales teams and clients. Provide comprehensive answers to technical questions troubleshoot potential issues and offer insights into best practices for implementing SAP Concur solutions.

Customer Needs Analysis: Work closely with customers to understand their business processes pain points and objectives. Use this information to tailor demonstrations and propose solutions that align with their goals.

Collaboration with Sales Teams: Partner with sales representatives to identify opportunities develop strategies for client engagement and assist in closing deals by providing technical and product expertise.

Solution Design: Architect comprehensive scalable and robust solutions using SAP Concur products and services. Ensure solutions are aligned with client business goals and SAP Concur s product capabilities.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business processes challenges and requirements. Act as a trusted advisor guiding clients towards optimal solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Technical Leadership: Lead the technical aspects of project delivery from the initial proposal through to implementation and support. Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices and meet project timelines and budgets.




Feedback Loop: Relay customer feedback and insights to product management and development teams to help guide product enhancements and new feature development.

Thought Leadership: Keep up to date with SAP Concur product updates competitor offerings and industry trends to ensure effective positioning of SAP Concur solutions.



Requirements

Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.

Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a solution engineering technical sales or consulting role preferably with a focus on SaaS products. Prior experience with SAP Concur solutions is required.

Technical Proficiency: Configuration and implementation of SAP Concur solutions is required. Indepth understanding of Request Invoice and Expense is preferred. Knowledge of Travel is a plus. Strong understanding of SaaS technologies APIs and integration strategies. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) customer relationship management (CRM) and financial systems.

Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and communication abilities with the skill to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner to a nontechnical audience.

ProblemSolving: Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and problems propose effective solutions and overcome objections with persuasive reasoning.

Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with crossfunctional teams including sales product management and technical support.

Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to support sales initiatives and client engagements and engage with customers directly.
