ROLE: Ariba Specialist

Experience: 8

Sr. SAP Ariba Functional Specialist Ariba / CIG / MM

The Ariba Functional Specialist position requires expertise on Ariba platform particularly with Buying & Invoicing modules and commanding knowledge of designing and configuring the Ariba Network. Must also have a strong understanding on the configuration and use of CIG ( Cloud Integration gateway) and SAP MM handson config experience related to the integrated endtoend P2P process. The appropriate candidate must have experience in business process consulting helping identify problems in the P2P process propose and implement the solution. This role is instrumental to the continued development configuration and deployment of an existing Ariba implementation and an integral part of a large SAP S/4HANA implementation for a global Fintech company.

Responsibilities:

  • Design implement and support the platform particularly the Buying & Invoicing modules
  • Design and configure Ariba Network to enable streamlined enterprisewide P2P processes
  • Design and configure CIG to properly integrate Ariba with SAP S/4 HANA
  • Configure SAP S/4 HANA MM for proper Ariba integration
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert in the area of Ariba solutions
  • Map client business requirements processes and objectives as part of requirements gathering
  • Develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients needs
  • Actively participate in testing training and implementation of Ariba solutions
  • Create appropriate functional and technical documentation
  • Perform troubleshooting activities: investigate analyze and resolve problems

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience with Ariba Buying and Invoicing modules
  • 5 years of handson experience with the Ariba Network
  • 3 years of experience administering and configuring CIG
  • 5 years of experience in S/4HANA MM configurations for procurement process for master data/organization elements
  • 2 full lifecycle Ariba implementations highly desired
  • Experience with Ariba Buying and Invoicing including solid knowledge of transactions & configurations master data loads and integrations including admin activities
  • Experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Network and Supplier Enablement particularly Buyer Configurations for integration to the Ariba network.
  • Strong understanding of business and technical uses as well as configuration of SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)
  • Deep experience configuring SAP S/4 HANA MM for proper Ariba integration.
  • Bachelors degree in IT purchasing accounting finance management or business administration or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Ability to work in a high volume fastpaced environment while paying attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks manage time and multitask
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees managers and customers.
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products especially MS Excel
