Overview:
The SAP ABAP position is crucial to our organization as it involves developing and maintaining ABAP programs to enhance and customize SAP functionalities to meet business requirements. The role requires strong technical and analytical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ABAP programs reports interfaces conversions and forms to support business processes
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues in SAP systems
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs for efficient system operation
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed programs and customizations
- Participate in system testing and support endusers during the testing phase
- Work on enhancement and modification of standard SAP programs
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and functional teams
- Handle integration and coordination with other SAP modules
- Collaborate with SAP Basis team for system performance and maintenance
- Stay updated with latest SAP technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to the overall SAP system architecture design and development
- Participate in project planning estimation and implementation activities
- Support SAP upgrades and migrations
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 3 years of handson experience in SAP ABAP development
- Extensive knowledge of SAP modules and their integration with ABAP
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ABAP Java and SQL
- Experience in database management and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of SAP development tools and methodologies
- Ability to perform technical analysis and provide innovative solutions
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Experience in technical documentation and knowledge transfer
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori HANA and other advanced SAP technologies is a plus
- Certification in SAP ABAP development is desirable
- Capability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines
