Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design code test and troubleshoot ABAP programs to enhance the functionality of SAP modules.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and implementation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to ABAP development activities.
• Perform debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs to ensure optimal functionality.
• Develop and maintain interfaces and data conversions using ABAP.
• Implement and maintain SAP enhancements and modifications as per business needs.
• Work on SAP forms and reports using ABAP List Viewer and SAPScripts.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing ABAP programs and interfaces.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to understand system requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and tools to improve development practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with ABAP development standards.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed programs.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and providing technical support to end users.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ABAP development processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an ABAP developer in SAP environments.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and development tools.
• Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting SAP applications and programs.
• Experience in developing and maintaining ABAP reports interfaces and data dictionary objects.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO SD MM and HR.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies and best practices.
• Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP applications.
• Proficiency in SAPScript Smart Forms and Adobe Forms development.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Certification in SAP ABAP development is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA and Fiori development is an advantage.
