Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP ABAP development along with proficiency in ODATA. As an SAP ABAP Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing ABAPbased solutions to support various business processes within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development: Develop and maintain ABAP programs reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEF objects) in alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- ODATA Services: Design implement and consume ODATA services to facilitate seamless integration between SAP systems and external applications.
- Customization: Customize standard SAP applications as per business needs using ABAP enhancements such as BADI User Exits and Enhancement Points.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimization techniques in ABAP programs to ensure optimal system performance and responsiveness.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including specifications test plans and user manuals for developed ABAP objects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants business users and other IT teams to understand business requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing integration testing and debugging of ABAP programs to ensure quality and reliability of developed solutions.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ABAP programs and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Mandatory Skills:
- SAP ABAP: Extensive handson experience in SAP ABAP development including ABAP Objects ALV Reports BAPIs RFCs BDCs and Dialog Programming.
- ODATA: Proficiency in designing implementing and consuming ODATA services within SAP environments.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP Fiori: Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development would be a plus.
- SAP Integration: Experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDoc ALE and SAP PI/PO is desirable.
- ABAP on HANA: Familiarity with ABAP development on SAP HANA platform would be advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- SAP ABAP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
