San Francisco - Pseudo-Patients Needed for AI Study 417

BACKGROUND

Our project aims to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into medical encounters. MCE is actively seeking individuals to join our research on integrating AI into medical consultations. To apply you must be 18 years of age or older and legally able to enter into a contract with MCE in English. Learn more and get involved!

Date:Saturday May 4/17th

Time:2 sessions :9am 12pm and 1pm 4pm

Hosting Facility:To BeDisclosed near UCSF

DURATION

Total 2 hours onsite to capture 60 minutes of required audio and transitions.

SCENARIO

ScenarioBased Discussion:Patient Actorwill be presented with a brief medical scenario to discuss with each doctor. Patients will have 6 scenarios and notes on each provided.

Verbalized Examination:The doctor will ask questions related to the scenario verbally simulating a physical exam without any physical contact.

Multiple Providers:You will meet with five or more healthcare professionals each for a 1015minute session to reach your minimum of 60 minutes for $50

Audio Recording:Only audio recordings will be taken during these sessions to capture the conversation.

COMPENSATION

Total: $50 for 1 session / $100 for two sessions

Breakdown:
Session one: $50 for up to 60 minutes of recorded audio with the provider
Session two : Additional $50 for another 60 minutes audio with 6 new providers
Patient actors can do a maximum of 120 minutes recorded audio time. Provider counts can vary depending on schedule.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Recording Length:Up to 60 minutes of recorded audio with the doctor
Session Format:One 60minute recording blocks (may be adjusted based on medical professional schedules). Patient will see 6 providers for a minimum of 10 minutes for a total of 60 minutes recorded time.
