Salesforce Project Manager

Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing medium to largescale projects or segments of larger more complex projects throughout the project development lifecycle. These projects may span multiple departments and affect various lines of business.

As a Project Manager you will collaborate closely with project sponsors and Systems counterparts to define project scope develop project plans and manage project budgets. You will also oversee the execution of project tasks mitigate project risks resolve issues and manage resources to ensure the achievement of project goals and deliverables. Leading a team of subject matter experts analysts and other participants you will ensure the project is executed successfully under best practices and standards. Additionally you may provide coaching and performance feedback to project team members and communicate effectively with project sponsors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the project team and various business units in defining scope planning budgeting and controlling all project tasks resources and deliverables.
• Applying strong project management standards and best practices to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Reviewing business cases business requirements functional specifications and implementation plans.
• Communicating project expectations to project members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Ensuring thorough testing of all system changes.
• Assisting the Program Manager in providing project and portfolio status reporting and analysis to senior leadership.
• Managing the scope of the project to minimize scope creep and understanding the changing business needs and their impact on the overall project while recommending solutions.
• Collaborating and negotiating project goals across the Bank.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of related work experience related to Salesforce Projects
• Experience in the banking or Finance industry is a must.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated understanding of project management principles tools and techniques including business case development ROI analysis planning and issues management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including comfort with negotiation and influencing.

• Strong problemsolving abilities and sound judgment.
