Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that every customer is helped promptly with enthusiasm and is given a professional and complete introduction to our products.
• Ensures that every person in the sales department has a plan for the day and completes that plan.
• Recruits hires fires motivates and incentivizes sales staff to reduce lost sales and increase profitability of department.
• Ensures sales staff is trained know what they are required to do and have the skills and resources to do it.
• Is knowledgeable about all incentives and programs ensures proper staff is also informed and knowledgeable and they are used properly to maximize customer benefit and business profitability.
• Works with Sales Personnel and Finance Managers to set sales goals and forecasts.
• Works with General Manager to maintain new and used car inventory levels and product mix to maximize profitability.
• Works with General Manager to establish operating standards processes and minimum levels of performance for the sales department.
• Reviews all deals to ensure legal and ethical conformity. Ensures funding packages are accurate and complete.
• Works with General Manager to develop a marketing strategy and tracks ROI of all advertising.
• Provides a daily report of sales and tracking numbers to General Manager

Experience:

• Automotive Sales and Finance: 6 years (Required)
