Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join a well-respected MSP. Perks include competitive comp, excellent benefits, and flexible work environment. Can be hybrid or remote, with some travel (as needed).

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for finding & growing business opportunities and managing customer relationships by maintaining in-depth knowledge of company offerings and developing strong relationships with clients and prospective clients. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for preserving and expanding our customer base by presenting new products and services to our potential and current customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Sales Engineer:

  • Meet & exceed sales objectives, revenue quotas, and building new revenue by selling company services.
  • Facilitate & support business objectives.
  • Grow existing accounts & new client base.
  • Source new sales opportunities in person & remotely through lead follow-up and cold calls.
  • Attend strategic project implementations & service calls to grow client relationship, ensure customer satisfaction, and present new products & services to clients.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Manages sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas.
  • Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, and provide prompt follow-up to all client inquiries.
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company offerings to present products and services to prospective clients.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers dedication.

Experience

  • 3 years direct sales experience of infrastructure services.
  • 3 years business to business experience.
  • Experience with and knowledge of the customer base in the local market.
  • Experience in building strategic plans for sales team growth and development, including account and activity planning and development.
  • Knowledge of traditional networks, switching technology, firewalls, Windows Server, VMWare, etc.
