Senior Scrum Master / Product Manager /Leader

• The Ontario Digital Service (ODS) is by design a new way of working and promotes a multidisciplinary agile team approach where teams coalesce around missions with direction from ministries.
  
• The current product teams include:
  
• The ODS Platforms division is currently executing on a number of project and product focused initiatives in support of issuance and use of digital credentials.
  
• To support the work and enhance the OPS digital capabilities the ODS is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master and Product Manager to support the delivery of products and lead team members with adopting agile ways of working and modern iterative approaches.
  
• This role will have a unique opportunity to build leading digital government products and services that impact an Ontarians day today government experience. Ideal candidates will be internally motivated individual contributors that have a passion for resolving complex problems for the citizens of Ontario.

Must Haves:

• Experience setting up the agile environment your team needs to build and iterate on a usercentered service
  
• Experience leading and coordinating the team including daily standups sprints planning and backlog grooming
  
• Experience with usercentered design practices and processes
  

Skill Set Requirements:

Agile project management:

• Experience setting up the agile environment your team needs to build and iterate on a usercentred service
  
• Experience leading and coordinating the team including daily standups sprints planning and backlog grooming
  
• Experience with user centred design practices and processes
  
• Experience with an iterative approach to product development and testing
  
• Experience with agile engineering methods and a broad range of internet technologies such as common internet protocols web analytics semantic markup REST and other foundational web topologies that underpin modern digital applications
  

Collaboration and facilitation:

• Experience with planning and facilitating product and extended team s work through collaborative and interactive work sessions
  
• Experience managing the agile process for a multidisciplinary teams that include a product manager software developers user researchers designers dev/ops content creators and other subject matter experts
  
• Experience helping your product teams become better at autonomously organizing their own work
  

Communications and relationships:

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience navigating complex issues and stakeholders.
  
• Experience building strong relationships across organizations
  
• Experience creating and presenting information for different audiences
  
• Experience communicating timelines and progress to audiences with different levels of experience with agile practices
  
• Experience flagging an removing obstacles or blockers to progress
  

Subject Matter Experience with Verifiable Credentials:

• experienced and knowledgeable with verifiable credentials and SSI model implementations
  
• understands key roles of issuer verifier and holder and their interactions within the SSI model
  
• understands the major technology components and their considerations in support of an SSI model implementation.
