Roofing Laborer

Job Summary:

As a Roofing Laborer at IIQAF you will be responsible for assisting in the installation repair and maintenance of various types of roofs. You will work under the supervision of our experienced roofers and collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of worksites by setting up ladders scaffolding and other necessary equipment

Remove old roofing materials debris and tools from worksites

Load and unload materials from trucks

Assist in the installation of new roofing materials including shingles metal roofing and waterproofing membranes

Perform minor repairs and maintenance on roofs such as caulking and sealing leaks

Adhere to all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment as required

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that may arise.

Keep worksites clean and organized

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs)

Comfortable working at heights and on roofs

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites
