Green Energy Venture, part of the OE-EN Group, is a consulting and service company operating along the renewable energy value chain. We have been connecting technology and financial markets on three continents for over two decades. Our fields of expertise are engineering, transaction management, TA (Technical Advisory) and high-level services, which are necessary for the realization of projects in renewable energies. We are currently moving more than 8 GW in our internal projects from their development to grid connection along our core competencies.

Tasks

  • Financial and technological assessment of renewable energy projects.
  • Identification and Qualification of RES Projects (PV, Wind, Hydro, Biomass ) in early and advanced development stages.
  • Operational steering of assigned and identified projects considering all involved stakeholders and their interests such as contractors, subcontractors, landowners, DSOs, etc.
  • Execution of Technical Due Diligence for internal and external customers to qualify the investments.
  • Stage gate risk assessment covering permitting, licensing, technology, environment, financial and political risks.
  • Manage and coordinate all activities along the development of greenfield projects from permitting phase through to the financial close.
  • Establishing of clean and C-Level compliant Project Reports according to internal policies.
  • Communication and negotiation with landowners, local community, planning bodies, local politicians, grid operators, consultants, suppliers, regulators and media and other key influencers.
  • Negotiation with clients/contractors and other third parties, preparation, and coordination of contracts.
  • Preparation of financial models for the project assessment.
  • Reviewing and establishing of state-of-the-art virtual data rooms and corresponding project teasers for the Management.
  • Support your team for example in land acquisition and lend a helping hand when needed.

Requirements

  • Completed master s degree, doctor or comparable qualification in the field of environmental or system engineering, energy technology and/or energy efficiency
  • Experience in the field of mid-large scale renewable systems development processes
  • Experience in financial modeling of energy projects, due diligence processes and M&A-transactions
  • Ability to express thought clearly and accurately, provide the necessary, accurate and properly processed information
  • Previous experience in contract handling
  • Have strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines and multiple projects concurrently
  • Knowledge of latest generation technologies along renewable energies
  • Knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements (experience in contracting is a plus)
  • Minimum knowledge of C1 level English and German
  • Willingness to travel internationally (30%)
  • Well-structured, organized, and service-oriented way of working
  • Experience in writing high quality reports
  • Quick comprehension and independent working
  • Interest in working in an international and dynamic environment
  • Empathic, loyal, and forward-looking attitude
