Remote Senior Software Engineer (iOS, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and Cocoa Touch)

Turing.com is looking for a Senior Software Engineer on behalf of a well-established OTT platform dominating the entertainment industry with their diverse collection of videos available. The selected candidate must have rich iOS experience and will be designing and implementing features on the iOS application. The global company serves more than 300 million users in over 16+ languages and is rapidly revolutionizing the market. The company has managed to raise more than $220 mn so far in funding. This role requires some overlap with the East-Asian time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement various features and improve the stability of our application

• Improve, rethink, and redesign the mobile app to offer a high-performing system with a fun user interface

• Take charge of delivering important business modules while writing code efficient, modular code

• Be in charge of the end-to-end product quality, from the development to maintenance of fundamental app frameworks

• Generate high-quality solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Lead the prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies at the forefront of mobile technology

• Be aware of the required technical and product-related requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• At least 6-10+ years of relevant experience as an iOS software engineer

• Expert-level understanding of iOS development and technologies like UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and Cocoa Touch

• Excellent Swift and Objective-C coding ability

• Strong CS and OS fundamentals

• Outstanding skills dissolve complex problems into simple, innovative, and business-oriented solutions

• A knack for problem-solving and handling ambiguity

• Ability to work independently without requiring much hand-holding

• Ability to understand Cantonese
