Remote Senior React/Node Developer (No Gender Bias)

Turing.com is looking for a Senior React/Node Developer on behalf of a fast-emerging company ensuring every child has access to early education to realize their potential. The developer will join the team to work on various projects, including building out the core product that childcare providers use to manage their businesses and software that government agencies use to manage their childcare initiatives. The company has successfully partnered with childcare providers in over 500 cities across the US with the dedication to continuously expand the positive impact. This position offers a long-term opportunity for the selected candidate and requires at least 5-6 hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements, break down tasks, estimate, and deliver mission-critical features

• Deliver features across the stack, including web and mobile applications, server-side APIs, schemas, etc.

• Proactively communicate progress to the product team and leadership

• Understand the customer workflows within the early childcare industry

• Architect, build, and maintain the product features

• Debug production issues across the entire stack

• Write high-quality and readable code with effective test coverage

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a full-stack engineer

• Previous experience with Node and React

• Expertise to fully own and deliver features from end to end

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Proven experience breaking down features into smaller deliverables

• Proficiency with Google cloud, Firebase, and other cloud services like AWS is nice to have

• Experience with API gateways and public authentication like SSO APIs is desirable
