Remote Front-end Developer (JavaScript, CSS, and React)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking for a remote Front-end Developer on behalf of a US-based company that sells heating, air conditioning, and indoor air quality products and services to users at affordable prices. The selected candidate will be responsible for building the new website and ensuring high-quality UI and user experience. The company has pledged to provide users with contractor-grade services to ensure the most comfortable and healthy indoor living. This will be a full-time position that requires 4+ hours overlap with the CST time zone. This is a nice opportunity for developers to rub shoulders with industry veterans and gain some practical experience.

Job Responsibilities:

- Deliver critical business modules while developing optimized and modular code
- Take ownership of end-to-end product quality
- Integrate third-party APIs for shipping/payments
- Implement tools to improve operational efficiency
- Contribute insightful ideas while working with a team of experts


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and React
- Familiarity with jQuery and Coldfusion is nice to have
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
