Turing is looking for a remote Desktop Client Engineer on behalf of a Silicon Valley-based game development company that allows users to build exciting, robust games without writing a single code. The selected candidate will join a small team of experienced engineers to build out the core product. The powerful software is helping creators break down the barriers of game development and revolutionize the gaming industry. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work on innovative solutions while tackling complex problems. It will be a long-term role and requires at least 4 hours overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on the application design, features, and services to overcome scalability issues
- Analyze and optimize the platform to ensure faster execution and effective functionality
- Provide a high-quality user experience
- Perform unit and integration tests, troubleshoot and fix bugs, and deliver high-quality solutions
- Implement security and data protection practices
- Write readable code and maintain technical documentation
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Prolific skills with C++ and Qt
- Prior working experience with Objective-C and Kotlin is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to function effectively without excessive hand-holding and micromanagement
- Capable of working as a self-sufficient individual and a team player
