Turing.com is looking for a Data Scientist on behalf of a US-based fintech company that provides mortgage closing services. The selected candidate will be responsible for building machine learning models to support the core products. The company is on a mission to enhance the real estate closing process with efficiency and transparency. It has raised a funding of over $250 mn so far. This will be a long-term, full-time opportunity for those who want to work with a well-established company.
Job Responsibilities:
Build Machine Learning models to support core products of the company
Improve performance of document classification and annotation prediction models.
Research and prototype new applications for Machine Learning
Perform exploratory analysis on new product areas
Build and maintain production quality machine learning models
Investigate and organize disparate data sources for machine learning work
Drive high impact projects throughout the organization
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data scientist
Good understanding of advanced Machine Learning techniques
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud technologies like AWS
Experience with Computer Vision, NLP, and or Deep Learning
Fluent English communication skills to collaborate with engineering managers
Passion for learning new technologies, self-starter, and problem-solving skills
