Remote Back-end Python Application Developer (SQL, Pandas, NumPy, and Scipy)

Turing.com is looking for a Back-end Python Application Developer on behalf of a well-established financial firm leading global investment services for top-tier clients around the world. The selected candidate will be tasked with documenting and sharing the work done to support the existing team long-term. Job Responsibilities:

• Empower and mentor other developers within the team

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers and developers to architect a simple application UI for the customers

• Develop software with modern-day features for a better user experience

• Design, develop, maintain, and monitor the products

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer

• 3+ years of experience working with SQL in relational databases such as SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle

• At least 3+ years of experience in Python and its core quant libraries, including pandas, NumPy, and Scipy

• Prolific experience with Docker and Kubernetes is nice to have

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in written and verbal English communication
