Turing is looking for a remote Back-end Engineer on behalf of a US-based firm driving the AP and procurement management market with their next-gen technology. The developer will be driving features to delivery while working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. The company eliminates operational problems, improves efficiency, and boosts performance by consolidating all suppliers and catalogs in a single marketplace. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop software that meets requirements and adherence to performance standards and best practices
- Enhance the refinement and elaboration of requirements and design
- Write quality code that minimizes rework
- Plan for new technology insertion as required
- Create and perform unit testing
- Understand and plan for evolutionary paths
- Resolve technical problems, disputes and make tradeoffs
- Facilitate performing impact analysis against software change requests
- Aid in developing specifications and creating other process artifacts
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
- Solid understanding of Java (SE + EE), JavaScript, JSON, and REST API
- Familiarity with NodeJS, Spring, Tomcat, jQuery, and Jira
- Nice to have strong knowledge of MongoDB, SOLR, and Maven
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment, and ability to drive features to delivery
