Responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment and Care:

   • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients health status.
   • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
   • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
   • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions.

2. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work collaboratively with physicians other healthcare professionals and support staff.
   • Communicate effectively with patients and their families providing education and support.
   • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

3. Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records.
   • Document nursing interventions assessments and outcomes in a timely manner.
   • Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards for documentation.

4. Adherence to Standards:

   • Follow established nursing protocols policies and procedures.
   • Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
   • Stay current with developments in nursing practice through ongoing education.

5. Quality Improvement:

   • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
   • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.

6. Professional Development:

   • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
   • Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and nursing best practices

     Qualifications:

   • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
   • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Specify province/territory College of Nurses.
   • Specify any additional certifications or specialized training required.
