HealthOPM is seeking Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) / Instructor Therapist to join our team for assignments across Ontario. We provide highquality evidencebased interventions that promote the growth and development of our clients.

Location:
Various sites available across ON
Specifically; Oshawa Markham Richmond Hill Barrie Concord and Etobicoke.

We work with clients in all healthcare sectors including long term care retirement communities hospitals health centers and community clinics anywhere in southern Ontario that care is needed.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) / Instructor Therapist to join our team. The RBT / Instructor Therapist will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized ABA programs designed to meet the unique needs of each client. This position requires a commitment to helping individuals with ASD reach their full potential through structured and engaging therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

Implement individualized ABA programs as outlined by the BCBA
Conduct oneonone therapy sessions with clients using ABA techniques and principles
Collect data on client progress and behaviour during therapy sessions
Assist in the development of behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) as needed
Collaborate with other members of the therapy team including BCBA supervisors speech therapists and occupational therapists
Provide feedback and support to families/caregivers on implementing ABA techniques in the home or community setting
Maintain accurate and uptodate client records and documentation
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and relevant regulatory bodies

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in psychology special education or a related field
Current certification as a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) issued by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes or community locations as needed
Ability to pass a criminal background check
