  • The client company a distinguished leader renowned for exceptional precision machine tools including conventional and multiaxis Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers Jig Borers Jig Grinders Thread grinders and specialized machines is currently seeking a driven and dynamic Machine Tool Sales Engineer.
  • Operating within the West Coast and Midwest regions of the United States the Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling the companys esteemed products and services.
  • This role demands a highly motivated selfstarter with a penchant for fostering client relationships and expanding market presence.

Position Summary:

  • The Sales Engineer for Machine Tools is responsible for professionally representing the companys offerings to both prospective and existing clients.
  • This role requires a strong track record in machine tool sales through OEMs or highend distributor networks.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment excels in relationshipbuilding and collaborates effectively with crossfunctional teams to provide innovative solutions that enhance customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain key client relationships fostering industry connections.
  • Conduct onsite visits to customer facilities within the designated territory addressing engineering service and strategic sales opportunities.
  • Manage key accounts identifying avenues for increased market share and revenue through securing new contracts.
  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers to assess customer equipment needs.
  • Develop strategic plans and tactical approaches to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Nurture and strengthen customer relationships prioritizing excellent service.
  • Actively engage in customer facility visits to address engineering matters.
  • Promote and support the sale of Mitsui Seiki products offering technical sales expertise.
  • Provide recommendations for enhanced materials and machinery solutions.
  • Accurately forecast monthly quarterly and annual sales projections.
  • Craft present and respond to proposals tailored to specific customer requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering team for effective product demonstrations.

Qualifications:

  • A selfmotivated professional with a passion for technology and problemsolving in manufacturing.
  • Datadriven mindset with a focus on customercentric solutions.
  • Demonstrates a positive salesdriven and customeroriented demeanor.
  • Proven ability to excel as a proactive highperforming sales team member.
  • Effective independent worker who thrives in a collaborative team environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong background in customer account management with a proven track record of relationship building.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Bachelors Degree in related fields or 10 years of equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of five years of CNC machine tool sales experience.
