Job Description:

The Receiver operates lift trucks or hand trucks proficiently to transport materials to designated departments or areas with precision and care. Diligently unpacks and inspects incoming shipments ensuring adherence to quality standards. Records any discrepancies or damages coordinating with shippers to resolve issues promptly. Handles the reception and processing of defective parts for replacement or credit accurately. Manages inventory of shipping materials and supplies to ensure smooth operations. Utilizes computer systems for efficient tracking of goods throughout the process. Provides essential support in both shipping and receiving operations contributing to the seamless flow of goods for our valued customers. Promptly notifies department supervisors of any defective materials or questionable conditions maintaining a keen eye for quality assurance. Upholds cleanliness and orderliness in the work area and equipment strictly adhering to safety regulations. Consistently meets the companys high standards of workmanship and quality.

Requirements:

Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team and give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the safety and quality standards. Pass a forklift training class. Able to read and write basic shop communications.
