RALLY Production Support Engineer Consultant

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading global professional business consultingservices companywho is seeking to onboard a RALLY Production Support Engineer Consultant. In this role you will be responsible for crafting clean functional code and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests using Agile Methodology.

Position:RALLY Production Support Engineer Consultant

Location: Remote/work from home from anywhere inFrance

Employment type: Fulltime

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow the internal processes to the T.
• Document the transition and transition internally to the geographically distributed team
• From steady state: on a dayday basis resolve tickets within SLA in doing do collaborate with the geographically distributed teams to achieve better efficiency and productivity by taking advantage of work that can be done across timezones
• Be absolutely client experience focused and have a passion to identify opportunities to continuously improve our services
• Report to Leads outside of the local region and participate in preparing/presenting status reports
• Program conduct code reviews and test software as needed ensuring quality of deliverables
• Assist in Documentation KEDB Recovery & Resolution procedures
• Analyze business functions and data discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with global team members and business users at all levels
• Take an oncall responsibility on a rotation basis with colleaguesonce the candidate is up to speed
• Work would be in Energy and manufacturing functional area
• Flexible to work in Maintenance/Support Development Projects
• Execute various forms of testing unit system regression integration performance volume
• Experience in code management and versioning methodologies
• Participate in scaling the team by training others on RALLY & RDB

REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional English and French language skills
• Bachelors or masters in engineering or mathematics is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An end to end understanding of business use cases
• Ability to transform them into an effective and strategic solution
• Ability to take on a job without much legal support

• Experience in RALLY and RDB on VAX/VMS or OpenVMS environment
• Open to learn and work on 3rd party applications and coordination with globally distributed tech team to solve other techbased apps issues
• Superior customer service mindset
• Advanced troubleshooting& scripting skills (Debugging & scripting skills required)
• Handson experience in RALLY RDB
• Good to have knowledge of Production support activities (added advantage)
• Ability to analyze data
• The ability to communicate friendly and cultural behavior during customer contact.
• Strong customer focus
• Willingness and ability to multitask
• Willingness to learn the Product/Platform and associated technologies
• Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools
• Technical understanding of products/services and/or ecosystem being supported
