Responsibilities:
EDUCATION:(Required)Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Location: Richmond VA
Job Type: FullTime
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including Xrays CT scans PET scans and mammography
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to ensure highquality images are captured
- Review images for clarity and accuracy making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret images
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures
EDUCATION:(Required)
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (within 6 months of hire)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
- Society of Radiologic Technology
- Virginia Society of Radiologic Technology
