About the Role

Designation : Quality Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for driving quality initiatives and process enhancements across bottler & vendor ecosystem and ensuring all statutory & safety compliances are being met as per Companys requirements. To collaborate with the Packaging & Fragrances development team and provide necessary inputs for qualification & execution of the new products for the timely launch.

As a Quality lead is expected to hold clear accountability of success of New & Regular products in terms of meeting quality standards and to keep the FTA as per defined levels.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive quality initiatives and process enhancements across bottlers and vendor units.
• Monitor and keep track of QA activities across bottlers and provide support for material & FG clearance.
• Initiate bottler audits and safety audits / training to ensure all statutory compliances are being conformed to norms and up to date.
• Identify critical requirements of new materials processes proposed in product development and call out challenges if any and provide suitable alternatives to eliminate risks to product quality and timeline.
• Key anchor for overall product quality including artwork approvals as per Legal Metrology requirements and ensure every new & regular product meets Companys standards.
• Focus on continuous improvement in product quality by devising new testing methods and processes.
• Managing OGQ and quality operations in Warehouses.
• To provide technical / developmental inputs to the team to manage changes and expand their skills.

Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering and certifications related to Quality & Safety Management.

10 years experience in leading Quality management in Beauty / CPG

Skill sets:

• Good knowledge in Quality management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with quality tools and techniques.
• Should have a clear eye for details and be able to provide swift resolution to quality issues.
• Collaborate well with crossfunctional teams and display leadership within the team.
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
