About the Role:
The Regulatory Compliance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that Hstens products comply with the regulatory standards governing manufacturing export and import in Sweden and our global markets. This position involves close collaboration with product development quality assurance and supplier management teams to integrate and maintain compliance across all stages of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay informed about and communicate Swedish and international regulations affecting our products. Ensure compliance with destination countries regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure all products meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain records of compliance activities and develop documentation processes that meet international regulatory requirements.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes conduct audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify compliance risks in global trade and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct compliance training for employees and foster a culture of compliance awareness.
• Ensure global suppliers materials and components comply with regulatory standards. Conduct supplier audits.
• Regularly report compliance status to management and report violations or incidents.
• Investigations and Remediation Investigate compliance issues and develop corrective actions.
• Monitor and recommend improvements to the global compliance program.
• Communication with Regulatory Authorities Actingliaison with regulatory bodies and responding to their inquiries and inspections.

Education Skills Responsibilities and Experience

• Bachelors or masters degree inManufacturing/Engineering. Additional education in quality and industrialization disciplines is preferred.
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis is advantageous.
• Excellent written and oral skills in English (Swedish is a plus).
• Highly organized detailoriented innovative strong leadership abilities and proficient in project management.
• Personal Traits: Entrepreneurial spirit customerfocused flexible passionate and excellent communicator.
• Proven experience in supplier quality assurance and a successful track record in quality control project management.
