Job Description:

• We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position.

• The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 2-4 years industry experience testing software, including website applications.

• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java and SQL is desired, but not required.

• Experience with Selenium highly desired Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment.

• Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.

• The scope of projects increased and didn't have the capacity to fill. Mitigating quality risk for 2022 initiatives.

Typical Day in the Role

Day-to-Day/Weekly Tasks:

• Will vary with phases of the projects. They will be involved in test execution phases, and executing test cases (already existing).

• Some will be involved in testing that has already started. (include) per project and testing schedule. Some may automate test cases as well.

Interaction with team:

• Promote convocation for when they need to brainstorm, they use chime slack, and other. And use software

Work environment:

• Own work space within building and work from home set up

• Depends on projects. Execution rate is a key metrics, defect rate (how many are an actual defects).

Top 3 must-have hard skills

• QA/ People Soft Experience.

• Volume of test cases he/she executes (test cases that they've designed or created) *volume and impact*.

• Number of defect rate they've found in past projects .
