Job Title: Quality Assurance Tech I

Duration: 4 months

Location: North Reading, Massachusetts 01864

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Hybrid

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills,

  • can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for finding bugs.

  • QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During

  • the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 0-2 years industry experience testing software, including website and/or mobile applications.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

  • Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.

  • Experience with Java and Selenium is a bonus

Typical Day in the Role:

Daily Schedule

  • Knows automation & is very capable.

  • Morning Standup Agile touch base meeting

  • Automating test cases & extending framework in some manner.

Conversion to 11 months or FTE?

  • Value Added/experience gained

  • Automating UI tests

  • Good communication skills,

  • Bias for action think autonomously

  • Software Development Life Cycle.

  • They will not be micromanaged and will have the ability to take ownership of their work & deliver results.

Work Environment:

  • Very self-motivated and independently led very relaxed work environment and the contractor will have open communication and notice of any upcoming meetings

  • Code at a Java level they will immediately be disqualified (coding assessment will be provided)

  • Java & Selenium

  • Lynx experience

  • Mild AWS experience & SDLC
