Role Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Automation Enginee you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our security solutions. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans conducting system and performance testing and implementing test automation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with product management development teams and other stakeholders to deliver highquality software releases that meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and replicate customer topologies inhouse for testing purposes.
- Conduct complex test methodologies and deliverables including system and performance testing.
- Develop and execute test automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to define release targets and test plans.
- Analyze customer issues and recreate them inhouse for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Continuously improve product quality by identifying and addressing root causes of customerfound issues.
- Provide technical expertise in system architecture and recommend optimal testing strategies.
- Stay uptodate with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to quality assurance and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test planning and execution.
- Proven experience in system and performance testing in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud and data center infrastructure deployments.
- Handson experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. vSphere KVM OpenStack AWS Docker Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as GO Python TCL and Shell Scripting.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana Kibana MongoDB Atlas) and network traffic generation/debugging tools.
- Familiarity with nextgen firewalls IDS IPS and microsegmentation technologies.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Relevant certifications in quality assurance or software testing.
