Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Security Policy & Training Specialist to join our team for a 6month contract in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing security policies procedures and training initiatives to ensure the organizations information assets are protected and employees are wellinformed on security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Policy Development:
- Develop review and enhance security policies standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement policies that align with business needs.
Training Program Development:
- Design develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness and training programs for employees at all levels.
- Utilize various formats including elearning modules workshops and simulations.
Policy Communication and Enforcement:
- Communicate security policies and procedures to all relevant stakeholders ensuring a clear understanding of expectations.
- Collaborate with management to enforce policy compliance and address any deviations.
Security Awareness Campaigns:
- Plan and execute security awareness campaigns to keep employees informed about the latest security threats and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of awareness initiatives.
Incident Response Training:
- Conduct regular training sessions on incident response procedures ensuring employees are prepared to respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
Policy Audits and Assessments:
- Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of security policies and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to address any findings and implement corrective actions.
Collaboration with IT and Security Teams:
- Work closely with IT and security teams to ensure that security policies align with the technical security controls in place.
- Provide input into the development and implementation of security technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Security Cybersecurity or a related field.
- 56 years of experience in developing and implementing security policies and training programs.
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements industry standards and best practices.
