Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor within the Construction Industry and they are looking to hire a QA/QC Manager.

Job Summary:

The QA/QC Manager oversees all aspects of quality assurance and quality control processes within the organization to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations. This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems conducting audits and inspections analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and leading a team of QA/QC professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Establish quality control procedures and protocols to monitor and maintain product/service quality throughout the production/service delivery process.
  • Provides and coordinates required on the job training hours. Assist in the certification of NDT for Level I and Level II inspectors.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards procedures and regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate external audits and inspections.
  • Collect analyze and interpret qualityrelated data to identify trends patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing quality metrics audit findings and improvement initiatives for management review.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality efficiency and costeffectiveness.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address nonconformities and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Establish quality requirements and specifications for suppliers and vendors.
  • Conduct supplier/vendor audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality management principles procedures and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of quality and accountability within the organization through training and awareness programs.
  • Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations standards and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that our clients services meet all applicable regulatory requirements and certifications.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.




Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Quality Management Engineering Science or other relevant field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control roles preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles standards and methodologies (e.g. ISO standards Six Sigma).
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and lead teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g. Certified Quality Manager Certified Quality Auditor) is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment Requirements




Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification in HSE management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, NEBOSH) is preferred. Proven experience in HSE management roles within the construction industry, with 10 years of experience in a similar capacity. Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards relevant to the construction industry. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams and contractors. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Experience in incident investigation and reporting in a construction environment. Ability to work efficiently in a multi-cultural environment
