products and services meet minimum company standards and end user requirements Oversees the Manual Quality Assurance Testing Team and makes sure that all software is thoroughly tested to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects Oversees the documentation of all problems and works to resolve them reports progress on problem resolution to Manual Group Lead Devises improvements to current procedures and recommends quality improvements Manages the daily workflow and distributes work to team members Manages all client projects to meet goals and deadlines and strives to achieve maximum quality within time constraints of the project deadlines Handles personnel issues and strives to keep the team stable and productive Creates training schedules and manages the execution of the training for the team Attends meetings as required Participates in RFPs as required Creates Quality Plans and Test Plans as required to satisfy client contractsbr p p stylemargin px lineheight br p p stylemargin px lineheight bKey Responsibilitiesbbr p ul liResponsible for daytoday personnel oversight of team s workrelated efforts and needs including the preparation of probationary and annual employee reviews approval of paid time off daily employee schedule considerations and approval of base work schedule requests as neededbr li liManage day to day work flow of the Manual SQA Test Management Teambr li liDistribution of team reports dailybr li liAbility to manage team during deployment events on a weekly basis including nights weekends and extended hours to assure a successful stable product is delivered to the clientsbr li liDevelop Test Cases and Test Plans for the large software modules and oversees the execution of these plans by other team membersbr li liParticipates in the creation of materials for RFPs for the Manual SQA Test Management Team as neededbr li liAssess functionality and be a knowledgeable resource of several Software applications for the teambr li liMentor and develop Manual SQA Test Management Teambr li liManaging the testing effort of all software releases from the development departmentbr li liManaging the Manual SQA Team s documenting and tracking of all software defectsbr li liEvaluation and assignment of all trouble tickets to development team membersbr li liReviewing and assisting in the creation of software documentation in conjunction with the subject matter expertsbr li liRecommendation and review of department policies and procedures related to testing procedures and implementation of software releasesbr li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills which are used with team members and clients in the form of formal training mentoring and presentationsbr li liResponsible for team understanding of Quality Methodology and process creationbr li liKnowledge of TFS and Software Configuration Management promotion processesbr li liExperience utilizing TSQL with Microsoft SQL Databases to develop scripts for use during testing backend databr li liExperience testing Web Services and Interfacesbr li liAbility to meet goals and deadlinesbr li liPrior experience in problem resolutionbr li liPrior
