QA ServiceNow ATF Automation Engineer

As part of TSG our Production Services team is dedicated to ensuring that our technology environments are best in class. Our Production Services team runs the systems that keep BNY Mellon running. Their mission is to deliver a full IT service management lifecycle across all runthebank applications and infrastructure support to provide a controlled secure and predictable production environment.

As a QA Automation Engineer you will automate the repeatable test cases to validate the quality of ServiceNow applications developed in an Agile environment using Automated Test Framework (ATF) (and other automation tools). This role works closely with our Process Owners from different streams to ensure we cover all the critical endtoend scenarios in our regression tests. This provides the quality built into solutions and contributes to the final decision on whether a software release is ready for production deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

35 Years of experience with the ServiceNow suite of applications as well as ServiceNow QA experience

Knowledge of software testing tools (both manual and automated) and processes including developing repeatable test procedures executing tests recording results and working with software engineers to identify and resolve defects

3 years of implementing ATF (Automated Test Framework) experience and setting up test scripts with ServiceNow

Ability to analyze business requirements and support user acceptance testing

Ability to work as a technical professional on an Agile development team to deliver highquality working software on a timely basis

Strong time management skills

Ability to obtain a security clearance

BA or BS degree

Strong communication skills (Ability to communicate technical information in business terms)

Ability to work independently & multitask

Experience with other test automation tools (i.e. Selenium LoadRunner etc.)

Required Qualifications:

US Citizen/Permanent US Resident

35 years of QA experience including ServiceNow testing experience

5 years of automation experience including ATF and Selenium

Strong time management skills ability to work independently & multitask

BA or BS degree

Strong communication skills (Ability to communicate technical information in business terms)

Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL Foundation Certification

ServiceNow ATF MicroCertified

ServiceNow APM MicroCertified

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

Experience with collaborative environments including Microsoft TEAMS and JIRA

Requisition Information

Reason for opening request: Lack of skill set on the team; we have extensive enhancement and work being done on the ServiceNow system and require automation testing to keep up for the platform to remain stable.
Shift (Start/End Time): MF US Daylight (flexible within reason)
Overtime required No
Work Location(s) if not Remote/Hybrid: NY but also open to Lake Mary and Pittsburgh.
Would you be able to extend it: Yes depends on funding.
Will this worker be working onsite: Yes Hybrid is in the office 2 days a week.
