Project site Engineer Site Supervisor

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage construction activities onsite according to project plans and specifications
• Coordinate with project managers engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks
• Manage labor and material resources efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress quality and adherence to specifications
• Resolve any onsite issues and conflicts that may arise during the construction process
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation reports and records
• Oversee the implementation of environmental and sustainability practices on site
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on site progress and challenges
• Manage and lead onsite construction teams providing guidance and support as needed
• Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders for permits and approvals
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources and cost control on site
• Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary measures to prevent accidents and delays
• Conduct regular safety briefings and training for onsite personnel

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
• Proven experience in construction management and site supervision
• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and processes
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and quality standards in construction
• Proficient in project management and scheduling software
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate onsite teams
• Problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing onsite challenges
• Understanding of environmental and sustainability practices in construction
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Certification in OSHA and First Aid/CPR is preferred
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation
• Flexibility to work onsite and adapt to changing project requirements
