Project Manager Manufacturing

Sync Robotics is expanding their talented team of individuals and is currently seeking a Project Manager with 2 years related experience. In this role you will have the opportunity to manage the project lifecycle of creating custom robotic solutions for manufacturing applications from design to installation. You are the bridge between the customer and the Sync Robotics team. To support your success you bring a strong understanding of project management principles practices and tools including scheduling cost control risk management and reporting. You are proficient with project management and Microsoft Office software and are highly organized with strong document controls. The ideal candidate is a cooperative teamplayer with the ability to collaborate and communicate regularly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to produce high quality results for the customer and the company. • In collaboration with both internal and external project teams monitor report on and deliver each project on scope budget schedule and quality.
  
• Develop and maintain Project Charters
  
• Develop and maintain project schedule including resource loading critical path analysis and progress monitoring.
  
• Manage project budgets including cost tracking and forecasting.
  
• Monitor and manage project risks and opportunities. Communicate same to appropriate stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  
• Produce and present accurate and timely project reporting to internal and external stakeholders including progress updates and project performance reports.
  
• Effectively communicate with customer representatives remotely or inperson to address concerns and challenges during all stages of the project. Gather customer feedback for internal discussion anlaysis and continuous improvement.
  
• Collaborate with sales engineering production and customer teams to ensure project quality and design aligns with customer requirements.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechatronics or mechanical engineering or other jobrelated discipline required.
  
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards completion is an asset.
  
• 2 years of proven experience in a similar role preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  
• Demonstrated understanding of project management principles practices and tools including scheduling cost control risk management and reporting.
  
• Willingness to learn new skills.
  
• A strong work ethic with a positive approach to working with others.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced innovative environment.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style.
  
• Strong computer literacy including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
  
• Selfmotivated with the ability to function autonomously in a teambased environment.
  
• Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada and the USA is required. Reliable transportation for client site visits is required.
  
• Short duration travel will be required on approximately a monthly basis depending on project/customer needs.
