Job Title: Project Manager Application Support Team
Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead our Application Support Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management particularly in the realm of application support and possess expertise in tools such as Jira Soap UI AWS Enterprise Architect and ticketing systems. This role involves overseeing the endtoend support processes ensuring timely issue resolution and fostering collaboration among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership:
  • Lead and manage the Application Support Team to ensure the effective and efficient resolution of applicationrelated issues.
  • Develop and execute project plans setting clear objectives and milestones.
  1. Tool Expertise:
  • Utilize expertise in Jira Soap UI AWS Enterprise Architect and other relevant tools to streamline support processes and enhance team productivity.
  • Provide guidance on tool usage and best practices to team members.
  1. Issue Resolution:
  • Oversee the identification analysis and resolution of applicationrelated issues.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address and resolve complex technical challenges.
  1. Ticketing System Management:
  • Manage the ticketing system and ensure that incidents and service requests are appropriately documented and addressed.
  • Implement and enhance ticketing workflows for efficiency.
  1. Communication and Reporting:
  • Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Generate regular reports on team performance issue resolution and key metrics.
  1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Foster collaboration among team members and with other departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager preferably in the field of application support.
  • Proficiency in Jira for project tracking and management.
  • Experience with Soap UI for API testing.
  • Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Enterprise Architect tools.
  • Previous experience with ticketing systems for incident and service request management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
