Project Management - Project Manager II

MW Partners is currently seeking a Project Manager to work for our client who is a leading global insurance company.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Have the ability to build and sustain strong relationships with project team members and customers. Ability to operate effectively even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear. Ability to step up to address difficult issues with courage.
• Familiarity with recruitment practices including sourcing interviewing and onboarding
• Performance management and performance development
• Ability to identify issues and drive effective solutions to correct deviations from plans
• Ability to communicate effectively clear relevant information to project team executives and project stakeholders
• Responsible for endtoend management of project i.e. all phases of project from concept project planning development execution monitoring to project close down.
• Effectively lead project teams in a matrix environment playing a consultative and coaching role to other team members as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team
• Hold teams accountable for their commitments removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
• Contribute to welldefined project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience managing HR projects. Knowledge of talent management
• Six Sigma Lean experience a plus
• Experience managing project budgets in excess of $5M
