Position Summary
Lead various warehouse projects from concepting to execution to hand over to customers. Perform data analysis and generate solutions to supply chain challenges.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Fully and accurately define the customer s supply chain requirements
Perform data analysis on supply chain performance and to identify areas for improvement.
Coach peers on lean and six sigma
Conduct improvement projects in warehouses using lean and/or six sigma methodology.
Provide detailed solution design.
Responsible for projects assigned from conception to hand over to clients. Manage project planning, coordinate with vendors and develop cost tracking.
Regular reporting to various stakeholders on project status as required.
Day to day interaction with the clients and various internal stakeholders.
Qualifications Summary
Experience:
This position requires minimum of five years experience in one or more key functional areas in supply chain.
Education:
Bachelor/Master degree in an Engineering field or Supply Chain Management equivalent.
Skills:
Technical Skill Requirements
o Strong project management skills. PMP certification would be advantageous.
o Process oriented with analytical problem solving skills.
o Requires excellent computer skills such as excel and VBA.
o Excellent oral / written communication skills, experience preparing and presenting oral / written presentations.
o Proficient with Lean or Six Sigma
o Familiar with CAD drawing tool such as draftsight or AutoCad.
Behavioral Skill Requirements
o Ability to deal with complex and ambiguity.
o Able to use systematic approach in decision-making and problem solving.
o Able to strategize and effectively communicate with peers, customers & vendors.
