Our client a leading construction company based in VI Lagos is currently seeking a Project Engineer who will oversee and manage the construction process from start to finish. In this role the successfiul candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time withi budget and to the required standards. They will also be expected to coordinate with architect engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that the project meets all requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project schedules budgets and resource
- Coordinate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure project succesReview and approve project plans specifications and contracts
- Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and environmental requirements
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management
- Manage project risks and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide technical support to project team members
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance for all project deliverables
- Lead project meetings and facilitate communication among team members
Requirements
- HND / Bachelor degree in Civil or Electric Engineering
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in managing large scale construction projects
- Experience in managing and supervising engineering teams
