Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Planning and Control Head to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations with expertise in production planning scheduling and control processes. The Production Planning and Control Head will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize lead times.
2. Create production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and customer demand.
3. Coordinate with various departments including procurement manufacturing and logistics to ensure smooth production flow.
4. Monitor production processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
5. Analyze production data and trends to forecast future demand and adjust production plans accordingly.
6. Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory optimizing working capital.
7. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to introduce new products and improve existing processes.
8. Implement and maintain production planning and control systems ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
9. Lead and develop a team of production planners and schedulers providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning and control incorporating new methodologies and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in engineering operations management or related field. Masters degree preferred.
2. 10 years of experience in production planning and control roles within the manufacturing sector.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management principles.
4. Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems. Experience with Hnadling TeamsKnowledge production cycle and Audits
5. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make datadriven decisions.
6. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
7. Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving production targets.
8. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
9. Certification in production and inventory management (e.g. APICS CPIM) is desirable.
